Before you book.
A few things worth knowing before your appointment — how we take bookings, deposits, walk-ins, the day itself, and aftercare.
- Bookings
- DM us on Instagram or Facebook (HellHound, Bristol), or message an artist — or our piercer Tom — directly. Include your tattoo size, placement and reference images, or which piercing or jewellery you’re after. We usually reply within a few days.
- Deposits
- A deposit secures every booking — no deposit, no booking. Deposits aren’t refunded if you cancel, and each artist sets their own refund and reschedule policy, so check with yours.
- Walk-ins
- We sometimes take walk-in tattoos and offer walk-in piercings, but always advise booking so you’re seen promptly.
- On the day
- Bring photo ID for your consent form, eat and drink beforehand, and wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting ink on. Tell us if you need assistance or a carer.
- Comfort
- Tell your artist any dos and don’ts before you start. Privacy screens available on request.
- Aftercare & touch-ups
- Aftercare and second-skin products sold in studio; your artist talks you through it. Free touch-up within 2 months on most areas.
- Sunburn
- Protect your skin before and after. Arrive sunburnt and we may not be able to tattoo you — and you could lose your deposit.
